The Veterans Railcard is designed to help veterans save on rail travel across Great Britain. With this card, veterans can enjoy up to a 1/3 off rail fares for themselves and a companion. Additionally, up to four children can travel with a 60% discount on child fares. This card not only makes travel more affordable but also encourages social and recreational activities by making journeys more accessible.

Eligibility and Application

To qualify, you must be a resident of Great Britain and have served at least one day in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces (Regular or Reserve) or have been a Merchant Mariner who has seen duty on legally defined military operations. The application can be completed online, where you can also upload digital proof of your eligibility.
